He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nielsen and Hazel Nielsen. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Lisa) and Kevin (Grace); his grandchildren, Noelle, Hope, Isaiah, Josiah, Evangeline and Hailee; his sisters, Annette Miranda (Ed) and Peggy Almgren (late Neal); his nephew Kye Miranda; and his aunt Helen Berglund.
