Douglas Allen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Higgins and Helen Higgins; and his siblings, James Higgins and Stephanie McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Gabriela Higgins of Wheaton; his daughter Rana Higgins; his son-in-law Logan Schaefer of Brookfield; his children, Emily Higgins of Wheaton, Daniel Higgins of Wheaton and Banafsheh Siadat; his son-in-law Virag Shah of Sacramento; his daughter Marjan Siadat; his son-in-law Ken Kelley of Sacramento; his grandchildren, Griffin Schaefer, Hudson Schaefer and Zahra Kelley; his brother John Higgins; and his sister-in-law Marie Higgins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187).
