She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Johnny Hornbeak and Eunice Hornbeak; her husband James Michael Lundy; her children, Jeffery Harris and Roxanne Hill (Rodrigquez); her stepchildren, James Michael (Mike) and Sara Northern-Sanders (Chris); her grandchildren, Avery (Kristina) and Alicia (Deleon); and her great grandchild Aliyah. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband James Lundy, both parents, two brothers: Jimmy and Ricky Hornbeak a sister: Johnnie Maletha Hornbeak and a grandson, Rodrigquez Hill Jr. Under the current Covid 19 Guidelines crowds of up to 50 people or less are permitted to attend the visitation.
