With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna L. Schmidt of Wheaton, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Schmidt; her parents, Eileen Severa and William Severa; her brother John (Jack); her siblings-in-law, Doris Severa and Rex Steinkuller; her nephew Rexie Steinkuller; her aunt LaVonne; her uncle William Sprague; and her son-in-law David Fessler (Glenn Boggess).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Trottier (Paul), Carol Wilen (Scott), Jackie Meisner (Tim) and Tori Fessler (Eric Johnson); her stepchildren, William Schmidt (Kathie), Roberta Boggess (Glenn) and George H; her grandchildren, Michael Wilen (Hailey), Casey Wilen (Christina), Ryan Trottier (Kate), Matt Trottier, Lauren Schmidt (Eric Olson), Eric Schmidt (Tracy), Clinton Boggess (Jackie) and Daniel Boggess (Maggie); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Colby, Clover, Canon, Alex, Sam, Tucker, Olivia, Audrey, Will, Avery and Eli; and her sisters, Margaret Steinkuller and Kay Merkle (Werner).
