She was predeceased by: her parents, Othon Ochsner and Louise Ochsner; her husband John Lawrence Swider, Sr.; and her son John Lawrence Swider, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Michael Swider (Nancy) and Nancy Swider-Peltz, Sr. (Jeff Peltz); her grandchildren, Jessica Swider Drolet (Olivier), John "Josh" Swider III (Jessica) and Jackie Swider; her children, Justin Swider (Renee), Mikey Swider (Katie), Hannah Shindledecker (River), Jeffrey Swider-Peltz and Johnny Peltz (Katie); her great grandchildren, Liana and Elodie Tardif-Drolet; her grandchildren, John IV, Jayden Swider, JJ, Urijah, Stryker, Haven, Phoenix Swider, Lyla, Halle Swider, Forrest Shindledecker, Boaz Swider-Puknaitis and Tenley Peltz; her brother-in-law Chuck Mefferd; and her nieces and nephews, Betty-Gene Johnson, Catherine Johnson (Larsen), Karen Normandy, Dorene Johnson, Eugene Johnson and Charlie Mefferd II.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the College Church (332 E Seminary Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187).
