With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Samuelson of Wheaton, Illinois, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Samuelson and Frida Samuelson; his former wife Johann Korpa; his wife Kathie Heimann; his daughters, Lee Prior (late Mark) and Libby Zamis (Mike); his grandchildren, Rachel, Jackie Marro, Abby and Kate Zamis; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Marian Samuelson; and his brothers, Leonard II and Robert. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
When Parkinson's began to challenge Dave's physical abilities, Kathie continued to be his loyal and endlessly patient companion.
