He is survived by: his wife June Hurd; his children, Dave Hurd (Karen), John Hurd (Kathy) and Kimberly Sherman; his grandchildren, Jeff, Heather, Jacqui, Matt, Cassie and Aaron; and his brother Robert Hurd.
