He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Haley and Leah Auger Haley; his wife JoAnn Neburka Haley; his brother Grant L. Haley; his children, Dr. Ruth H. Barton (Christopher) of Wheaton, Beth C. Lloyd (David) of Wisconsin, J. Taylor Haley (Cami) of Wisconsin and Rev. William R. L. Haley (Tara) of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Charity (Kyle), Bethany (Ryan), John, William, Jessica, Chet, Hudson, Liam, Iona, Karis and Maira. He was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren.
Due to concerns related to the COVID 19 pandemic, services will be held privately.
