It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert DuPrey of Westville, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Duprey, Sr. and Catherine W. Norgaar Duprey; his mother-in-law Rosie Dempsey; his friends, Bob Tovey, Vic Wimsett and Mikey Cadle, Jr.; and his pets, Baby (Rottweiler), Thunder (Rottweiler), Tank, Patches, Puffer and Lightning (Rat Terriers).
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Jeni Newell (Chuck) of Catlin, IL, Angi Clay (Tom Harden) of Oakwood, IL and R. Justin Duprey (Holly) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Travis Gudgel (Taylor) of Catlin, IL, Tayler Foster (Tyler) of Temple, TX, Madison Heaton of Oakwood, IL, Hannah Heaton of Georgetown, IL, Katie Griffin (Andrew) of Catlin, IL, Johnny Jumps (Natalie) of Danville, IL, Kali Cast of Danville, IL, Vivian Rose Duprey of Indianapolis, IN and Evelyn Grace Duprey of Indianapolis, IN; his great grandchildren, Alaina, Aleah Gudgel, Kyla, Mattyx, Spencer Foster, Jasper, Nayomi Jumps, Lydia, Jonah and Dawson Griffin; his sister Sharon Reed of Whitestown, IN; his siblings-in-law, Gregg, Kim Bolton of Danville, IL and Jim Dempsey of Daytona, FL; his close friends, Walter, Gail Deck, Dave and Maria Peerman; and his pet Dixie D. Donnie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
