He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Valangeon and Margaret Slifer Valangeon; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ankrum; his children, Steve Valangeon (Annette) and Pam Hoffman (Ted); his siblings, Marc Valangeon (Brenda), Barbara Cline (Dave) and Laura Styler; his grandchildren, Brad Reid (Sheri), Jennifer Spires (Jamaica), Kala Spires (Mike) and Carley Hoffman (Robert); his great grandchildren, Jada, Kennedy, Brantley, Holden, Ben and Sage; his sisters-in-law, Lynn Valangeon, Doris McCoy and Shirley Beckett; and his cousins, Claude Valangeon (Elaine) and Gladys Pickering (Chuck).
