“My mother. Ethel Milligan was Lorraine's cousin. In my early teens, I was involved in a car accident and spent many weeks in a Danville hospital. It must have been near December, as I remember Lorraine said her son Randy thought I should have a Christmas present...so, one of their own was given. I don't remember what...but, have never forgotten the kindness and thoughtfulness of that gesture. Have many memories of the Larson family, (Hulda, little Hulda, Edna, Harold.) I send my sympathy!”

“Dear family of Lorraine. We send you our sympathy. My co-worker and I, who are ministers of Lorraine's faith and who have worked the last few months in Danville, appreciated our visit to her home in mid November. We sat beside her and had a special visit together. We left her home so uplifted! I also knew and visited Lorraine back in 1984/85, along with her brother and sisters. It means a lot to us to see Lorraine finish her life faithfully. I will try to send a photo that was taken that day.”
