He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Smith and Betty Smith (Van Horn). He is survived by: his wife Marie Schifo; his sons, Joseph Smith (Krystyn) of Waxhaw, NC and Matthew Smith (Jessica) of Normal, IL.; his grandchildren, Morgan (Jake), Alexis, Isabella, Lukas and Jakob; his great grandchild Maddilyn; his siblings, David, Dennis Smith and Barbara Dudich (George); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Schifo (Alyce) and Bob Schifo (Vina Thompson). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Larry's name to the Prairie Lands Scout Council, Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, or Saint Mary's Catholic Church Food Pantry.
