He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Novick and Margaret Novick (Miller); his sister Judy Novick; his son Jody Barton; his uncle Toney; and his aunt Mary Novak.
He is survived by: his sons, Cory Barton (Tammy) of Westville, John Novick (Andrea) of Morris and Ethan Novick (Kelsi) of Romney; his grandchildren, Nevin Barton, Savanna Pristach (Brenden), Jody Novick (Alexis), Olivia Novick, Rowan Crawford, Emery Novick and Jovie Novick; his pet Nala; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Micah and Tatum; his sisters, Jackie Moore and Jill Beyers (Jim); his niece Natalie Couch (Joey); his great-nephew Jeremiah; his nephew Justin Beyers; his great-niece Lilly; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trent, Brynn, Natalie and Maddi; and also Casi Spencer (Frank).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (414 S State St, Westville, IL 61883). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
