He was predeceased by: his brothers, Allen McMasters and Bob McMasters; and his grandson Landon McMasters. He is survived by: his wife Sheri; his sons, Clint McMasters (Jessica) of Westville, Craig McMasters of Danville and Troy McMasters (LuAnn) of Potomac; his grandchildren, Tryce McMasters, Trent McMasters, Bailey McMasters, Chase McMasters, Mason McMasters and Dawson McMasters; his siblings, Larry McMasters of Monticello, Bill McMasters (Kelly) of Bismarck, Melinda Wagle (Kevin) of Catlin and Penny Pate (Troy) of Georgetown; his siblings-in-law, Jim Hardy of Westville, Jack Hardy (Sue) of Lafayette, IN and Josephine Maxwell of Westville; and his friend Vaughn Howard of Champaign.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in his name to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N State St, Westville, OSF SHMC Cancer Center Foundation in Danville, IL or Carle Auxiliary Guest House in Urbana.
