She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Scott Pate and Mergie Lou George Pate; her sisters, Barbara Pate Carson and Bonnie Pate Howard; and her brothers-in-law, Oscar Howard and Harold Howard.
She is survived by: her spouse Verlin Howard; her siblings, Lois Pate Howard of Westville, IL and Richard Pate (Teri) of Westville, IL.; her great-nieces, Jennifer Howard Pulgar and Mandy Howard Wagner; and her niece Lori Huebner.
Memorial donations may be given in her name to Westville First Church of Christ.
