It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Chumas (Westville, Illinois), born in Ridge Farm, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregor Vacketta and Clara Vacketta (Johnson); her husband Jon Henry Chumas; her siblings, Ore Vacketta and Catherina Dowers; and her nephews, Ted Vacketta, Steve Dowers and Robert Allen Dowers.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Chumas (Rocio) of Wheaton, IL and Kim Rowe of Northern, WI; her grandchildren, Uriel Ambrosio, Jon Chumas and Kathleen Chumas; her sister Wilma Schultz (Larry) of Danville, IL; her nieces and nephews, Veatrica Dower, Loretta Rose, Betty Pintar, Cindy Jones, Kathy Bowen, Jerald Vacketta, Roger Cornwell, Jimmy Dowers and Leslie Dowers; and her sisters-in-law, Joann Angier, Prudy Fitzsimmons and Judy Poulson.
