She is survived by: her children, Joy Nicholas, Joseph "Joey" Nicholas, Jr., Julie Nicholas and Yvonne Nicholas; her siblings, Barbara Crise (John) and Barry Steele (Tina); her sisters-in-law, Candice and Flo Steele; her close friend Shirley Moody; her friend Ken Mowery; and her pets, Champ, Diamond, Red, Keke and Joey. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
