It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Kagels of Westville, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur V. Landers and Eva F. Landers; her son-in-law Mike Thompson; and her siblings, William Landers, Raymond Landers, Tom Landers and Sharon Spisok.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Kagels; her daughters, Eva Athey (Bill), Lynda Thompson, Teresa Bales (John), Jerri Kay Huber (Jeff), Gail Ricketts and Judi Miles (Dale); her grandchildren, Kyle Bartlow, Megan Bartlow (Amber Hillard), Mike Thompson II, Justin Thompson (Kari), Amanda Cockrell (Dustin), Michelle Bales, Dusty Huber (Billie), Heather Huber, Tori Gaide (Wayne), Jerry Ricketts (Jessica), Jessica Ricketts, Trevor, Dakota, Madison and Taylor Miles; her great grandchildren, Kaydence, Trey Bartlow, Anna, Jenna, Ethan Thompson, Alex, Hailee, Wyatt, Carter Thompson, Olivia Cockrell, Salvador, Evie Huber, Von Gaide, Barrett and Bristol Ricketts; and her siblings, Gene Landers, David Landers, Kay Brown and Linda Meganhardt.
Memorial donations may be made in Ann's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
