We bid farewell to Wayne A. Koch of Westmont, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Wayne leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Koch and Delores Koch; and his brother Russ Koch. He is survived by: his children, Robert Koch (Maria) and Cassie Cavins (Bruce); his grandchildren, Lexi Cavins and Ava Koch; his sibling Gail Burt; and his former wife Paulette Koch.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home (201 N Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
He battled with Leukemia, Parkinson's Disease and Diabetes. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org).
