He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sunyog and Julia Sunyog. He is survived by: his wife Diana Sunyog; his son Scott Sunyog (Evenin); his grandson Kevin Sunyog; his sister Barbara Orelup; his nieces and nephews, Bernie Orelup (Katie) and Bob Orelup (Kim); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh, Max Orelup, Ally, Owen and Emery Orelup.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nature Artists Guild at the Morton Arboretum in Robert's name are greatly appreciated.
