She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Mackert; her children, Kim Mackert (Gina Tso), Rob Mackert and Amanda Mackert (Kieron Aire); and her sisters, Kathleen Budnick (John), Carol Baumgardt (Andrew) and Cheryl Kakuska. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (111 S Cass Ave, Westmont, IL 60559). A Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the Clarendon Hills Cemetery (6900 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561).
