She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Burton R. Andersen and Alice C. Andersen; her husband Paul E. Ransdell; her children, Linda Malecha (Greg), Alison Shurtz (John), Beth Ransdell Vinkler, Jane Busby (Bill), Paula Dempsey (Joe), Robin Burke (Rich) and Amy Grippando (Mark); her grandchildren, Katie O'Donnell (Tim), Devin Coveney (Tom), Matt Vinkler (Annie Pittman), Joe Shurtz (Kayla), David Malecha (Jenn), Tony Grippando, Ruth Shurtz, Brian Grippando, Jackie Vinkler and Logan Burke; her great grandchildren, Harper, Grace, Rowen, Sophie and Molly; her sibling Burt Andersen (Hannah); and her nieces and nephews, Ellen Benya (Richard), Julia DeBroux (Brian), Brian Andersen (Srisupen), Bergstedt and O'Sullivan.
The family thanks Cordia Senior Living in Westmont for their diligence in protecting residents from Covid-19 and making our long separation from Joy bearable for her.
