She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Laning Sr.; her stepchildren, Joann Huizenga (late Bernie), Sharon Weiss (late Harvey) and Clarence Laning Jr.; and her siblings, Claus Deckinga (late Alice), Peter Deckinga (Yvonne), Henry Deckinga (Dena), Tracy Herlein (late Peter) and John Deckinga (Marilyn).
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Nelva Heinking (Jim), Ken Laning (Trudy) and Dave Laning (late Kim); and her siblings, Ida Boss (late Ray), Arthur Deckinga (Lorraine), Derk and Marilyn Van Howe (Bill). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
