He was predeceased by: his father Walter R. Kambic Jr.; and his uncles, Don and Kenny Kambic. He is survived by: his mother DeEtta Perkins Sowers (Douglas Sowers) of Aurora; his brother Rick Kambic of Palatine; his stepbrothers, Jason Sowers (Hannah) of Tennessee and Justin Sowers (Leanne) of Oman; his aunts and uncles, Jim (Maureen Kambic), Mark (Lynette Kambic), Laurie (Gajendra Suwal), Phil (Lynda Kambic), John (Krista Kambic), Sandy Kambic of Herscher and Marie (Jim Jarvis); and also Jean Kambic.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family is requesting donations in Glenn Kambic's honor be sent to the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 433 S. Carlton Ave. in Wheaton, Illinois.
