He was predeceased by: his parents, Grga Hecimovic and Kata Hecimovic (Luljic); his stepmother Ana; and his siblings, Maria, Nikola, Josip and Ivan.
He is survived by: his husband Maria Hecimovich (Vranek); his children, Gregory Hecimovich (Lara Suvada) and Mary Ann Flyte (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Holly Elizabeth Flyte, Banjamin Joseph Hecimovich, Cody Flyte and Jessica Stochelski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
