He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Roy and Aldegonde Roy (Martinbeau); his wife Esther R. Roy (Bellerose); his great grandchild Daniel Leiper; and his sisters, Doris Desroches and Jean LaCoy.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy D. Roy; his children, Wayne R. Roy (Nikki) of Chicopee, Sharon L. Viola (David) of Abingdon, MD and Brian D. Roy (John Bourgeois) of Milton, VT; his grandchildren, Traci Roy (Amanda Roy), Wayne Roy, Jr. (Kate), Corey Wuller (Lynn), Casie Leiper (Daniel), Stephen Viola (Heather) and Nicholas Viola; his great grandchildren, Cameron Roy, Nicole Wuller, Tyler Wuller, Olivia Leiper, Grace Leiper, Dana Leiper, Alaina Leiper and Maryjane Leiper; his siblings, Donald Roy (Barbara) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert Roy (Marie) of Chicopee and Denise Manseau (Richard) of North Carolina; and his brother-in-law Randy Bellerose of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke Activity Fund, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.
