He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William Edwards and Martha V. Sublett Edwards; his son Todd Charles Edwards; and his brothers, Donald Lee Edwards, Charles Eugene Edwards and William Clarence "Billy" Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Edwards of Westfield, IL; his children, Tony Kirk Edwards (Sherry) and Tammy Darlene Drew (Shannon) of Monticello, IL; his daughter-in-law Mary Edwards of Westfield, IL; his grandchildren, Zach of Aubrey, D. J., Seth, Austin, Alyssa and Cheyenne; and his siblings, Wayne Dean Edwards of Charleston, IL, Mary Catherine Goble and Irma Jean Hammond. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
