He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ronald and Roger Skoda; and his parents, James Skoda and Millecent Skoda. He is survived by: his wife Louise W. Skoda; his sons, Richard James Skoda, Jr. (Janet), Jeffrey Skoda (Cliffern) and Randall Skoda (Julie); his grandchildren, Susan Sollenberger (Barry), Laura Soentgen (Will), Kristen Skoda, Jennifer Skoda, Michael Skoda (Taryn), Matthew Skoda and Mariel Skoda; his great grandchildren, Mason Soentgen, Luke Soentgen and James Sollenberger; and his sister Grace Leonard.
