He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amelia Callahan and Edmund Callahan; his spouse Loree Hamilton; his sons, Michael (Christine), Dennis (Victoria) and Patrick (Nicole); his stepsons, Scott (Ann), Jeffery and Kurt Hamilton; his grandchildren, DJ (Laura), Sean and Charlotte; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeffery Jon, Ross, Abby, Kurt and Sarah.
