He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth "Betsy" Pearce; his parents, Dr. Dayton Pearce and Margaret Pearce; and his brother Jack Pearce. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly A. Pearce; and his children, Susan Pearce and William Pearce (Steve Spencer).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
