He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" (Lewis); his son Peter Barritt; his great grandchild Briar Barritt; his parents, Lester M. Barritt and Sibyl Barritt; and his brother Ronald.
He is survived by: his children, David Barritt (Joan) and Deborah Barritt Lyons (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Richard Barritt (Angela), William Barritt (Dana), Katherine Lyons Sullivan (Patrick), Kimberly Lyons Baker (Brennan), Michael Lyons, Rebecca Barritt and Megan Barritt; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Carter. He is also survived by his family, friends.
