She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Dr. J. L. Yntema; her children, Margaret Yntema Sereno, James Yntema, Richard Yntema (Louise Captein) and David Yntema (Esther Patrick); and her grandchildren, Alexander Sereno (Stacy), Samuel Yntema, Zane Yntema and Calvin Yntema. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
