He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice Bican Rhoads; his children, Cyndi, Geoff, Laura and Bryan Rhoads; his stepchildren, Robert, Lisa, Lori and Tom Welsch; his siblings, Virginia, Kathleen, Paul, Mark and Cheryl Rhoads; and his father Herbert Graves Rhoads. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
