He is survived by: his children, Julie Paliatka (Mark Morrissey), Jeanne Paliatka (Olaf Nelson), Jennifer Paliatka and Jason Paliatka; his grandchildren, Ryan, Sam, Sarah, Jamie, Marie Morrissey, Greta, Iris Nelson and Lavanya Paliatka; his sister Eleanor Turchan (late John); and his nieces and nephews, John Turchan, Maria Turchan, Lisa Turchan, Jim Turchan, Laura (Stephen) and Robinson.
