She was predeceased by: her spouse L. C. Owens; and her children, Reyetta Rush (Cleotha), Lloyd Owens (Rosiland), Jackie Swift (William) and Betty Stanford (Sam).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Mitchell (Zygmund) and Jerry Pore (Karen); and her siblings, Henretter Smith (Jesse), Willie Mae Roberson (Will), Bessie Mae Parham (Staton), Dorothy Mae Devault (JD), Lillian Curtis, Virginia Warr, Rachel Walter, Otis Thomas (Thelma), Percy Thomas, Dennis Thomas (Verna Mae) and Samson (Clara).
