He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Sands; his parents, Rose Sanchez and Manuel Sanchez; and his brother Raymond Sanchez (Ann). He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Durocher and Ava Sands; his grandsons, Eric S. Paige and Gregory S. Paige; and his siblings, Florence "Dolly" Alebick (late John), John Sanchez (Dolores) and Marie Garofolo (Pete).
