As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Constance; his child Thomas Schukay; his brother Edwin Schukay (late Ming); and his nieces, Julie, Susan and Linda.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Divine Infant Church (1600 Newcastle Ave, Westchester, IL 60154). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
