He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jill Slechter; his child Suzie; his brothers, Robert Slechter (Margie) and Edward Slechter (Rita); his sister-in-law Sharon Andrews; and his nieces and nephews, Eddie Slechter (Lisa), Scott Slechter (Dympna), Robert Slechter (Jessica) and Christine Slechter (Michael). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid Regulations a maximum of 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at a time.
