He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mastny and Aloysia Mastny (Sirovatka); and his brothers, Bob and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Patterson; his siblings, Ellen Patterson (Jerry) of Waterman, Frank Mastny (Diane) of Berwyn, Jeanie Brown (Dan) of Addison, Chris Mastny (Kathy) of Sycamore and Miles Mastny (Yadi) of Darien; his sisters-in-law, Julie Mastny (Paul) and Mary Mastny (Robert); and his cousins, Catherine Pokropinski (John) and Barbara Curle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hursen Funeral Home Sw Corner of Roosevelt (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
