With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Michael Chianakas (Westchester, Illinois), born in Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2020 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Michael Chianakas to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Greek and Michael; and his wife Sophie Giannopulos. He is survived by: his children, Mark (Dori), Gary (Karen), Jeff (Sheila) and Layna (Elie); and his siblings, James and Maria. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, there is a restriction of 50 people allowed to attend the services.
