He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith; his children, Alison DiValerio (Mark), Kathleen Fisher (Richard), Michael Hett, Peter Hett (Suzanne) and Brian Hett (Jane); his grandchildren, Mark, Jonathan, Matthew, Mia DiValerio, Evelyn and Theodore Hett; and his siblings, Thomas Hett (Roberta) and David Hett (Gwynn). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Divine Providence Church (2550 Mayfair Ave, Westchester, IL 60154). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Brookfield Zoo (http://www.brookfieldzoo.org) appreciated.
