He is survived by: his wife Ann McCarrell; his children, Douglas McCarrell (Frances), Dale McCarrell (Sonia), Luann McCarrell and Donna McCarrell; his grandchildren, Jason, Trevor, Daren, Mallory, Lauren, Mark, Grant and Gianna; and his great grandchild Lena.
