With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Demetrios J Poulos (Westchester, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Poulos and Despina Poulos (Sotis). He is survived by: his wife Beatrice; his children, Julie Poulos (Raymond Thompson) and Gregory Poulos (Angeline Beltsos); his grandchildren, Payton, Demetria Thompson, Katerina, Demetrios, Nicholas and Beatrice Poulos; and his sibling Elene Tapas (Andrew). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim was generously supportive of many efforts but his greatest wish was to find a cure for Alzheimer's as Beatrice was diagnosed 8 years ago. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation , 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 (act.alz.org) are appreciated.
