Annamae E. Shaughnessy Obituary
We bid farewell to Annamae E. Shaughnessy of Westchester, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 2, 2025 at the age of 105. Annamae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Annamae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Annamae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Corke and Mary "Mae" Corke (Immel); her spouse Thomas C. Shaughnessy; and her siblings, Albert Corke, William Corke, Charles Corke and Rosemary Corke-Callahan.
She is survived by: her son Thomas K. Shaughnessy (Bill Peche) of Kenosha, WI. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mother of Divine Grace Parish - Divine Providence (2550 Mayfair Ave, Westchester, IL 60154). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice, in her memory.
