He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Emma Tarpley (Hinderliter) and Clarence Sr. Tarpley; his stepmother Fern; his son Harley Tarpley; his brother Clarence Tarpley Jr. (Betty Lester); and his nephew Tony Tarpley.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Deneise (Brent Kramer), Stephanie (Kirby Shanks) and Holly (Dewayne Blake); his sister Sharon Hogg; his grandchildren, Whitney, Chanel, Dylon, Jacob, Cade, Olivia and Nicole; his brother-in-law Mike Clodfelter; his nephews, Billy Tarpley, Frank Postin and Shawn Clodfelter; his niece Misty O'Connor; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
