He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pete and Virgie Deischer (Luthe); his wife Virginia Louise Wood; and his brother Maynard. He is survived by: his son David (Julie) of Cary, IL.; his grandchildren, Robert of Downers Grove, IL and Emily of Cary, IL.; and his siblings, William (Bill) of Aurora, CO and Doris Nunez of Monument, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ingram Meridith Funeral Home (201 E Church St, West Salem, IL 62476). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
