He was predeceased by: his parents, Pernie Marks and Ruth Marks (Reckling); and his brother Gene. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Lee McKnight; his children, Terry Gill (Ronald) of Bone Gap, IL, Dixie Timbrook (Jerry) of Chambersburg, PA, Tom Marks (Karen) of West Salem, IL and Tim Marks (Christy) of Lebanon, IN.; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Gill Cantner (Scott), Alissa Gill Stieber (Nick), Rana Gill Walker (Josh), Lindsay Gill Stevens (Peter), Paula Timbrook Byrne (Eddie), Amy Timbrook Caton (Matt), Sarah Timbrook Dodson (Mark), Randall Marks (Kaytlyn), Miranda Marks, Andrea Marks Staley (Jake) and Katriel Marks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Oil Belt Christian Service Camp, and/or Marion Christian Church, and will be accepted by Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home.
