We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2023, at the age of 99, Lowell Earl Smith of West Salem, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Lee and Sylvia Grace Smith (Byram); his former wife Frances Hardy Gardner; his wife Amy Ruth Rice Bosecker; his siblings, Russell, Dewey Junior, Tommy and Pluma Litherland; and his son-in-law Kevin Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Micenheimer (Larry), Kathy McNeely (Jim) and Jane Moore; his grandchildren, Andy Micenheimer (Emma), Tyler Micenheimer (Erin) and Haley Hansen (Reed); his sister Lela Williams; his sister-in-law Ann Smith of Olathe, KS.; his family, Sharon Miller (Jim) and Rob Gardner; and also, Linda Beehn (Don), Tom Bosecker (Wanda) and Ed Bosecker (Debra).
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in West Salem, IL where Lowell was a member, Sunday School Teacher, Elder and board Treasurer for many years.
