George William Shelby Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2022, at the age of 87, George William Shelby Sr. of West Salem, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George William Shelby Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Shelby and Carolina Shelby (Gaede); and his sisters, Delores Carlson and Audrey Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Summerfield; his children, William Shelby, Jr. (Kathy), Robert Shelby (Marcia) and Melissa Bare (David); and his sister Laura McCurdy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
