We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2022, at the age of 88, Ruth E. O'Neill of West Peoria, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Nelson and Elise Nelson (Ott); her husband Gerald "Jerry" O'Neill; her brother Henry "Heinie" Nelson; and her son-in-law Dan Daly.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Daly of Peoria, Jayne VanNess (Joel) of West Peoria and Peggy O'Neill of West Peoria; and her sister Mary Ann List of Peoria. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Peoria Southside Mission, West Peoria Fire Department, or Bradley Epworth Church.
